This is such a magical time of year for our young children.  They are getting so excited about Christmas.  We are learning about Advent and how we prepare and wait for Jesus during this season.  The children have learned that Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus.  They can identify who is in the Holy Family and know what the Nativity is.  The children are anxiously awaiting to see snow!!  We have read the story of the Gingerbread Man, and the class gets to go to the Wichita Children's Theater to see the play on Thursday December 4th. 
​ Everyone is so busy this time of year.  I hope you take the time to see the wonder in the faces of the children as Christmas gets closer.  Share in their joy and excitement as we celebrate and remember the birth of our Savior.  Have a blessed and very merry Christmas.  Enjoy the holiday with family and friends.
