Sacramental Preparation

First Reconciliation:

Children are prepared to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time when they are at least 7 years of age and are in the 2nd grade.  Children will be prepared to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation a few months before they receive First Holy Communion.

First Holy Communion:

First Holy Communion is celebrated when children are at least 7 years of age and are in the 2nd grade.   Children will be prepared to make their First Holy Communion a few months after they receive their First Reconciliation.

Sacraments for Children Over the Age of Reason (age 7):

Children attending PSR or All Saints Catholic School and have NOT received the Sacrament of Holy Communion by the 2nd grade will attend preparation classes as follows:

• If the child is in the 3rd grade, students will attend the 2nd grade PSR class.
• If the child is between grades 4-8, the student will attend the special PSR Sacramental Preparation classes and receive Confirmation as a Sophomore.
• If the child is in 9th grade or above, the student will attend the RCIA program and be fully initiated at the Easter Vigil.

    Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 6:30

First Reconciliation:

   Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 2:30-3:30pm

   Reception follows in Fischer Center

First Communion Retreat:

    Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 9:00-11:00am in Fischer Center

First Communion:

    Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the 12:00pm Mass

    Reception follows in Fischer Center
