Sacramental Preparation is the process by which a child is prepared to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist for the first time.

First Reconciliation:
Children are prepared to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time when they are at least 7 years of age and are in the 2nd grade, Children will be prepared to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation a few months before they receive First Holy Communion.

First Holy Communion:
First Holy Communion is celebrated when children are at least 7 years of age and are in the 2nd grade. Children will be prepared to make their First Holy Communion a few months after the receive their First Reconciliation.

Sacraments for Children Over the Age of Reason (age 7):
Children attending PSR or All Saints Catholic School and have NOT received the Sacrament of Holy Communion by the 2nd grade will attend preparation classes as follows:
Baptismal Certificates are required for all children receiving these sacraments.
