My Dear Parishioners,
Blessings from our Lord be with you all. I want to thank everyone for your faithfulness to God by attending Holy Masses, especially here at All Saints. Yes, the weather has been super-hot, and we thank God for the new air conditioner system in our church. Can you imagine no cooling in church? If it had not been for the new HVAC system donated by a good-hearted family to our church, we all would be suffering greatly due to the extreme summer heat. Please know that it's cooler around the walls of the church than the center area of the church because the air vents are located along the walls; therefore, if it’s too cold for you, please move closer to the altar. Yes, we are super blessed with our beautiful church that’s always full of faithful Catholics. Please know that I always enjoy celebrating Holy Mass in our church and with you because of your full participation throughout the Mass. You are very attentive in listening to the Word of God as well as always praying from your hearts. Thank you! The guest priests who celebrated Holy Masses in our church also love our church and the people of All Saints. Remember, parents, you need to register your kids for the new school year. Please be sure to pay all your last year's school dues, whether it was latchkey, lunch or registration fees. All fees must be paid for last school year, 2022-23. The above school fees are not part of your stewardship tithing. Of course, you are also required to pledge and tithe to All Saints based on your family’s income, and to keep up with your tithe, unless you choose to pay tuition of $5,000 per child. Please know that you are expected to be faithful stewards with your time, talent and treasure. Catholic education is a privilege for those who support it by attending Holy Mass and contributing their talents and finances. This school year, it will cost the parish an additional $620-$723 thousand dollars for the new heating and air conditioning system for the entire school. I am glad to let you know that the HVAC project is going well, and each classroom is installed with an HVAC unit for cooling and heating. Please parents, grandparents, relatives of our children, benefactors of our church and school, alumni of All Saints, and all good-hearted people, please help us with your contribution so that we can pay for this very important project for the good of so many children today and many years to come. Every dollar is needed and appreciated. Thank you to so many parishioners for your tithe and generosity to our church and school, and your love, prayers, and financial support, especially our Knights of Columbus with $12,500 given to our school. Thank you and I love you all, Fr. Hien My Dear Parishioners, are you ready to send your kids and grandkids back to school? Yes, it’s coming in a few weeks. So, parents, if you haven't done so, please register your kids for the new school year. Please be sure to pay all your last year's school dues, whether it was latchkey, lunch or registration fees. This school year, it will cost the parish an additional $620-$723 thousand dollars for the new heating and air conditioning system for the entire school. The work was started in June, and it might take up to one year to fully complete due to the new Westar electrical service for the school building. There will be 27 HVAC units, one per classroom so that they will be heated for the upcoming winter for our kids and teachers. Please know that we love our students, teachers and staff. They mean everything to us here at All Saints and we are doing all that we can to keep them safe, healthy and warm in the winter. Please parents, grandparents, relatives of our children, benefactors of our church and school, alumni of All Saints, and all good-hearted people, please help us with your finances so that we can pay for this very important project for the good of so many children today and many years to come. Every dollar is needed and appreciated. You and I are here for our Catholic faith and for the good of one another, especially our kids. Thank you to so many parishioners for your tithe and generosity to our church and school, and your love, prayers, and financial support, especially our Knights of Columbus with $12,500 given to our school. Thank you and I love you all, Fr. Hien My Dear Parishioners:

Have you taken a vacation yet? If you have not, it’s not too late, the summer is still here. It’s important to get away for traveling or sigh seeing. I was blessed to travel on a cruise with one of my sisters’ family from Galveston for 6 days. I also got to stay with my elderly uncle in Houston, the one who recently lost his only son from cancer at the age of 45. I feel that it’s very important for family members to stay close to each other and enjoy each other's company and to support each other in times of need. I hope you feel the same and have the opportunities for your family to be together like last 4th of July weekend. I want to thank my brother/guest priests who celebrated the sacraments for me when I was away. I really and truly appreciated your ministry. I also want to thank our altar servers, lectors, sacristains, Eucharistic ministers, musicians, etc.. for your ministries in our parish. I know that when I am not around, things don’t always go as normal as usual. Thank you for your understanding and your ministries. We all appreciated what you have done for our beloved church and school. Parents, it’s time for you to register your kids for the new school year 2023-24. Registration days are July 10th-13th. God bless America and God bless all of you. Please know that I love you and I also love our country. Yes, sometimes it’s hard to love our country, especially during the election, because the political candidates and the political parties are very divided and hateful toward each other; however, we love our country because of the countless heroes and faithful citizens who have and are serving our country. Many of them came from many different cultures, customs, languages, with their hearts and minds serving our country and for the good of the world. America is a God-given country not only to the native Americans but to all those who love her. In God we trust and Happy Independence to America and to everyone who loves her. Please celebrate this 4th with compassion and love toward everyone among your families and friends. Always celebrate with lots of fun, laughter, and great food. Be careful with all fireworks because they can be very dangerous and harmful and destructive. Yes, a spark can destroy a village if it’s out of hand. If you are traveling, please be extra careful for the safety of everyone. July is here, which means that we are in the middle of the summer and back to school is not that far away. Parents, please put your child in a Catholic school for the good of their heart, mind and soul. No one wants to gain the whole world and lose his/her soul. Please pray with your child and enroll them in Catholic school in order to help them live out their Catholic faith. Happy 4th, Fr. Hien P.S. Thank you to all those who supported our Vietnamese food sale on Father’s day weekend, we sold $41,988.20, and profited $27,481.20. God bless you all for the many days and hours of hard work and sacrifices for the good of our church and school. Thank you and we are blessed because of you all. |
