My Dear Parishioners,
How important is your mother to you? I hope that you are loving your parents, especially your mother who gave you your life and birth, besides the other million things she did and will do for you. Love your parents before they are gone to the Lord. Please know that Mother Mary is super important for every one of us, to all people born into this life. Mary is like our mothers, without our mothers, we would not have been born; without Mother Mary, we would not make it very far, even to heaven. It’s because she is so united with God, and she is also the mother of God—Jesus. Jesus has entrusted every one of us to her constant love, care, and prayer until we are all in heaven with her. So, throughout this month of May, please remember your parents in your daily prayers, especially your mother, as we are about to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend. When you pray, ask Mother Mary to teach you how to pray to please God. Ask for her intercession before her son Jesus. Our All Saints students will do the traditional May crowning at their 8am Mass on Tuesday, May 3rd. Please join us! First Confession and Holy Communion: Students and parents are to attend the rehearsal next Saturday, May 7th at 9am, getting ready for the 4pm, First Holy Communion Mass. After Mass, I will take individual pictures with every child, and then with their families if requested. Don’t forget to attend our annual Vietnamese food sale this weekend, so much delicious food to enjoy. Thank you to so many good-hearted cookers preparing and cooking for us. It will be so fun to see people putting their effort and cooking skills to work. I love you all, Fr. Hien Comments are closed.
