Fr. Hien's Weekly Letter 08/27/23

My Dear Parishioners, Blessings from our Lord Jesus be with you all.  We are blessed to have so many good hearted people among us, especially Catholics who love their Catholic faith here at All Saints Catholic church and school.  Our goal here at All Saints church is to help everyone love God and one another, and together, we will inherit the eternal life of heaven with all the saints.  Let us open the doors of church and school, and above all, the doors of our hearts to welcome everyone coming to All Saints - the old and the young, the healthy and the sick, the born and the unborn -  we love them all.  We are here to pray and to worship, to teach and to learn, to love and to serve one another.  
Finally, please put on your calendar that our All Saints Marian Day this year will be Saturday, October 7th at 3pm with Holy Mass by Bishop Kemme, followed by the outdoor Eucharistic and Marian procession and meals for everyone.  This is a special event for our church and school to bring God’s children together from many languages, cultures and races.  All Saints Catholic school PTO will provide fun activities for all kids outdoors along with many other vendors and organizations.  Here is the event schedule: October 6th at 3pm, indoor food sale and outdoor vendors and music; 7pm will be the lions/dragons dance performance, followed by the children's lenten celebration and music (mid-autumn festival).  Saturday 9am there will be more outdoor vendors and music/karaoke until 2pm with confessions in church, followed by 3pm Mass, etc.  All the costs related to this special event will be paid for by the Vietnamese food sales.  Please bring your families, friends and neighbors to join us for a minute, an hour, a day or even the whole weekend.  We would love to share our joy, love and happiness with everyone.  God is good to us all, let us be good to one another, Fr.
