My Dear Parishioners,
Again, happy All Saints’ Feast Day and thank you for your love and faith in God. It was so good to see so many of us for All Saints’ Feast Day. I know that God is important to you and your family. Please always trust in God and always put God first every day no matter what. Only God can free us from our sins and eternal death. We all were given life by God and we all must love God today so that we all may be with God forever in heaven like all the holy angels and saints. On the other hand, all the fallen angels will be forever away from God and the holy angels and saints, and it will be the same for those of us who today do not love God. Yes, all the saints in heaven today were born sinners like us but they lived on earth for their Catholic faith, for God and for the salvation of others. Now they are with God, the holy angels and saints eternally. Throughout this month of November, we will pray for all souls, all those who have died and have not made it to eternal life. Many of the poor souls in Purgatory are our deceased families and friends. We will pray for them and all souls at every Mass; therefore, our intentions will be for all souls, and your Mass stipends will benefit our parish ‘Building Fund.” Please take an envelope and write all the deceased names of your family and friends so that they will be prayed for at every Mass in November (these names will be placed in front of the altar all month). We love them and we will pray for them until they are in heaven. Finally, please know that the best part of your day is to give it to God by loving and worshiping God and praying for one another at Holy Mass. Please make every effort to attend daily Mass at All Saints or another Catholic church. Please trust me that your soul will be restless until it rests in God, whether you are old or young, healthy or sick, rich or poor. See you at Holy Mass to pray for our sinfulness and to give thanks and praise to God, Fr. Hien HOMEBOUND: Holy Communion can be brought from All Saints to a devoted Catholic who is homebound or in a nursing home. Please contact the church office if you need this special ministry. Due to Covid and the many deadly viruses around, and for the safety of the homebound persons and the Eucharistic ministers, Holy Communion is not brought to anyone who is sick. All homebound ministers are required to wear masks and to use hand sanitizer before and after each visit. Carelessness can kill many. Let us help each other to live a long life with family and friends. Comments are closed.
