My Dear Parishioners & Happy Easter Everyone,
Blessings from our risen Lord Jesus be with you all. Often, we forget that every Sunday is the celebration of Easter, Jesus’ day of resurrection. Why? It’s because the resurrection of Jesus is His promise to all of us that we will be like Him, we will all rise from the dead just like He did if today we live to love God, to serve God and to worship God. Jesus did, and we must also, to rise from our deaths. God is so perfect that He will never abandon us, living or deceased. He will always be with us, loving us even when we are sinners or have died because of sins. For this reason, I am writing to you all, to remind you of God’s eternal and perfect love for you, your families, friends and the whole world during this pandemic time of sickness and death. God is with us and He will overcome all evil just like He did for Jesus. God has conquered sin and death and destroyed them. Jesus’ resurrection is God’s proof to all mankind. Now is the time for all of us to believe in Jesus, the one who suffered, died and rose from the dead for all of us. We must TRUST IN JESUS so that we may receive the graces of His suffering, death and resurrection for us. May we all enjoy the grace and blessings of Easter so that we all will rise to the eternal life of heaven with God, to be with our Mother Mary, all the angels and saints. Personally, I know for myself and for you that we are in the same boat. We have been in great distress and sorrow due to the virus attack. We have not been able to be with each other nor to be with our Lord in the holy sacraments. Please know that God and our loved ones are most important to us in this life and no evil can separate us from God or from each other. This is the time that we must be smart in order to be safe and to be healthy but above all, to be united in faith and in love toward those who are sick. May we all persevere one day at a time and continue living our days to the fullness while bearing great spiritual fruits before God. I am thankful to God for my life, my vocation and living in America. I am happily living out my days and doing all that I can each day physically and spiritually for our church and our parishioners. I love you all and wish you a Happy Easter with many blessings. I hope to see you soon after the covid-19 storm passes by. PS. Please don’t worry about me, I am The Man In Black and The Man Upstairs is taking good care of me. Please take care of yourself and your loved ones, Fr. Hien |
