My Dear Parishioners,
Blessing from our Lord be with you all. Please take good care of yourself and your loved ones: eat healthy, socialize with each other, help each other, and always have a restful night's sleep. Don’t forget to pray with them and for them daily. We need each other. Thank God that our new academic year started out smoothly and well. Later, I will share with you our students and their teachers’ names so that you can pray for them daily and especially at Holy Mass. Please join our students and teachers for their all-school daily Mass on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8am in Church. Our students will do the readings and singing. Our teachers and principal will be the Eucharistic Ministers. Please walk by faith with our students and teachers of All Saints. We need your support and good example. PS: Please join me in extending our love, prayers, and sympathy to the family of James Whitaker. James was put to rest on Saturday, August 20th at Calvary, and we prayed for him at our Holy Masses last weekend. Thank you to his family and friends for the memorial to our church. Greatly appreciated with love, Fr. Hien My Dear Parishioners,
God bless you all, especially our students and teachers at All Saints Catholic School. We are blessed to have our children, and to have dedicated staff and teachers working together to educate and to form them as disciples of Christ. Yes, our students will love Jesus, worship Him, and follow in His footsteps to save the world. Please pray for every one of our students so that they will learn all that they can day by day from their teachers and that they will grow in wisdom and love for God and for their families and friends, too. Please also pray for our teachers and their families, may our Lord bless them with good health and with joy to be with our students. I am thankful to each and everyone of them for their ministry for the good and salvation of our children. Our principal, staff and teachers are called to serve our Lord in our children. They will take turns writing and sharing with us in our weekly bulletin what our students are learning in their classrooms. Please read our church bulletin to keep up with all the activities in our church and school. Please join us for all school Masses on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in church at 8am. Love you all, Fr. Hien My Dear Parishioners,
Children and parents, are you ready for the new school year? Yes, it’s here and we are blessed to have you in our church and school. We at All Saints are “a diverse Roman Catholic community, centered in the Eucharist, guided by the Holy Spirit, nurturing one another through friendship, prayer, education, service, and stewardship, on the journey with Christ to the Father.” Here at All Saints, we strive to love one another and to educate and form our children in the Catholic Faith. Our goal is to help every student succeed and get everyone to heaven. Please join me in welcoming our students to All Saints Catholic School. I am sure that our students are like me, we can’t wait for a new school year, so that we can see each other again and worship together in church. May this academic year be a special year of grace and formation of the hearts, minds and souls of our children. So I ask for everyone's prayers for our students, teachers and staff. We need your prayer and support in order for us to carry out our mission here at All Saints. Without God's grace, we can do nothing, and without your help, including your stewardship of your time, talents and treasures, we can't make it very far. Pray also for good health and COVID free for everyone. Of course, we need to pray for favorable weather as well for the safety of our students, teachers and staff. Children are God's gifts to every family, community and society, let us welcome them and love them with Jesus' love for them all. God bless our students and our dedicated teachers and staff. God bless everyone of All Saints' family, Fr. Hien My Dear Parishioners,
God bless you all and may you know how much God truly loves you--eternally. Yes, God loves us eternally, no matter how holy we are or what wrong we have done, He is always ready to heal us and to forgive us, God is always by our side. Of course, if we are good and holy, our souls are full of joy and peace for we have received many blessings from our Lord. Yes, it’s true that our souls thirst for God only, versus our human bodies, that want about everything on this earth; earthly things like food, money, praise from others, and sometimes being a couch potato. Please know that every human being, born or to be born, is made in the image and likeness of God. We are to be holy and wonderful before God and one another. We are to live each moment of our life as wonderfully as we can so that we can help each other to love our lives and to thank God for our lives, and most importantly, to become saints. Sadly, there are so many depressed people in the world, especially in America. Not because we don't have enough food to eat or we don't have the love of others, but because we have not put God first in our hearts, minds, and souls. Many people are very distant from their loved ones, including their children, or parents, siblings, etc... Why? Why can't we live to love one another and respect one another? As a priest and pastor, I wish the best for everyone each day, that is, to live each day and each moment yearning for God and longing to be with one another. Yes, we all can have and live a good life full of joy, peace and happiness today. God is willing and He is always ready to give it to you. Thank you to all those who have been great role models for others by attending Holy Mass and always putting a smile on for the love of your life and others. God bless you always with His love and life within you all. Please enjoy the last few days of summertime with your loved ones before many of them will be heading out for a new academic year. Love you all, Fr. Hien |
