My Dear Parishioners of All Saints,
Merry Christmas to you all and to all your loved ones. God is here with us in Jesus. He comes to bring glad tidings and blessings to all people. May God bless you and your loved ones with His heavenly peace and good health this Christmas and in the New Year. Please know that I am looking forward to being with you and your family in church to worship God and to become one with God in the Holy Eucharist. Jesus is ready to bless us all at this Holy Christmas, especially those who love Him and worship Him with all their hearts, minds, and souls. Please know that I will be praying for you all at our Christmas Masses. Please join me in thanking God also for our confessors who gave us their precious time last Sunday to hear confessions. They are Fathers Matthew Siegman, Doug Campbell, Paul Oborny, Hung Pham, and Nhat Benjamin Nguyen. May God bless everyone during this holy season, especially all priests throughout the world. Through their love and ministry, we have received countless blessings from God, especially in the holy sacraments. I love you all, Fr. Hien PS: Please turn in your stewardship forms with your pledge if you have not done so. Thank you for your commitment to God at All Saints. Your reward will be out of this world. Your 2021 contributions will end on December 31. My Dear Parishioners,
Are you ready for Christmas? I am getting myself ready and also our church family. As you can see inside and outside of our church, we are pretty much ready for Christmas. The star on top of the church is super bright at night. The nativities inside and outside are amazingly beautiful. The best is yet to come as we are closer to Christmas; we will have more Christmas displays outside of our church. Let every heart and home prepare themselves to celebrate the birthday of Jesus, our Lord, God, and Savior. He came to love and to save us all who today put our trust in Him with His mercy and forgiveness. Please make plans to attend our penance service this Sunday, December 19th, from 4-5pm with Fathers Matthew Siegman, Doug Campbell, Paul Oborny, Hung Pham, and Nhat Benjamin Nguyen. You can go behind the screen or face-to-face. Please know that Jesus is waiting to bless us all. Jesus loves you, Fr. Hien My Dear Parishioners,
Thank you for attending Holy Mass on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Wednesday, December 8th. Please know that it’s essential to all of us to love Mary, the mother of Jesus and our spiritual Mother who always prays for us until we are in heaven with her. Please remember to pray a Hail Mary for each person in your family. They can always use your love and prayer whether they are with you, far away or even have passed to eternal life. Prayers keep us close and unite us with one another, for true prayer is from God—full of love and holiness. Please join me in thanking the following generous people who have donated $800 through the St. Katharine Drexel Catholic School Fund to support All Saints Catholic school. They are Ray and Rita Hoffmans, Mary Jirgens, Gary Kipp, Bill and Pat Lies, Rory and Teresa McCandless, Michael and Sheila Nally. Eternal rest unto Wayne Ignowski and Rose Palma who recently passed to eternal life from our church’s family. May they soon be among the saints in heaven. Our love and sympathy to their families and friends. Thank you to Wayne’s family for establishing a memorial for Wayne to All Saints Catholic Church. I will surely miss Wayne and his kindness to me. Love you all, Fr. Hien My Dear Parishioners,
Happy 2nd Sunday of Advent. May this Holy season prepare our hearts, minds, and souls to welcome Jesus more deeply into our lives. Jesus is our everything; and we are blessed to be His chosen people for we have faith in Him. Jesus, we love You; and Jesus we trust in You. As we are decorating the outside of our church for Christmas, let us and our loved ones also start preparing our homes to celebrate Jesus’ birthday. This coming Wednesday, December 8th, is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It’s a Holy Day of obligation with Masses at 12 noon and 5pm in English, and with the Vietnamese Mass at 6:30pm. Please make plans for you and your family to attend Holy Mass in our church or in another Catholic church to fulfill your obligation. Honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary and asking for her intercessions are obligations for us all. Holy Mary, pray for us sinners, Fr. Hien |
