My Dear Parishioners,
Blessings from Our Lord be with you all. We were asked by our Bishop Kemme to pray throughout this year to our Blessed Mother and St. Joseph for the good of our diocese, families, and country. May our Lord, Blessed Mother and St. Joseph keep all of us healthy, safe, saintly, and always faithful to God and one another, especially during this pandemic time. Consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary: Most Holy Virgin Mary, Tender Mother of all, we consecrate the Catholic Diocese of Wichita, all our parishes, schools, religious institutes, chapels, hospitals, clinics, all our ministries, all our families, and each and every person to your Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, O Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. Please accept our consecration, Dearest Mother, and use us as you wish to accomplish your designs upon the world. O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary and Queen of the world, rule over us together with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, Our King. Save us from the spreading flood of paganism, relativism, heresy, and apostasy. Kindle in our hearts and homes the love of purity, the practice of virtuous life, an ardent zeal for souls, a deeper love for Christ your Son in the Eucharist and fidelity to all the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. We come with confidence to you, O Throne of Grace and Mother of Fair Love. Inflame us with the same Divine Fire which has inflamed your own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Make our hearts and homes your shrine and through us make the Heart of Jesus together with your rule triumphant in every heart and home. Amen. (Due to limited space, prayer to St. Joseph will be in next week’s bulletin). Please join me in extending our love, prayer, and sympathy to the families of three parishioners who just passed to eternal life. Barbara Pate was 86 years old, died on Friday, January 8. Her rosary will be on Thursday, January 14 at 7:00 pm and her funeral Mass will be Friday, January 15 at 11:00 am, at All Saints Catholic Church by Fr. Patrick Malone. Jason Fritts, who was 50 years old, died Monday, December 28, 2020. Funeral Mass for Jason was held in our church on Thursday, January 7. Ray McCulloch, Jr., was 83 years old and died on Monday, January 4. We celebrated his funeral Mass on Friday, January 8 in our church of All Saints. I had the honor to celebrate Holy Masses for both Jason and Ray. They were put to rest on Friday, January 8 at Ascension Cemetery. May their souls and the souls of all our beloved ones be with Our Lord for eternal life. We pray and hope that we will see them in our Heavenly Father’s home of heaven. Resurrected Jesus, save your people, Fr. Hien Comments are closed.
