Fr. Hien's Weekly Letter 05/15/22

My Dear Parishioners,
     Congratulations to our First Communicant children.  They are Michael Abarca, Nicole Bramhall, Sofia Gonzalez-Ramirez, Mylia Huynh, Sophia Trinh, Apple Nguyen, Ryan Nguyen, Carsen Pham, Laura Nguyen, Cindy Quiroz-Rocha, Elena Webb and Josue Kabagaya.
      These children had their First Confession last Saturday, May 7th and received their first Holy Communion later that day at our 4pm Mass.  It was truly a special day for them, their families, teachers, and for me too.  I love our children because they are special to me.  I loved them when they were reverently receiving Jesus.  I always learn a lot from children from their innocence, niceness, kindness, and holiness.  Jesus knew what He was talking about when He said, “Blessed are those who have the heart of a child.”  If God would allow me to be a child every day, all my life, I would, in this way I would never have gray hair on my head.  Please know that each one of us is a child of God and He is always there for us, listening to us and helping us.  His blessings are waiting to be given to us all.  A special thanks to their teachers and helpers who helped our children learn the Catholic Faith, especially how to love Jesus.  Thank you also to their parents for helping them and forming them in the ways of faith.  As a church family, we are blessed to have each other, the old and the young, the born and the unborn.  God bless us all and I love you too, Fr.
