Weekly Letter from

Father Hien

Lord, make me your fisher of men.

Fr. Hien's Weekly Letter  10/16/22

10/16/2022

My Dear parishioners,
Thanks be to God who blessed us with our lives and each other.  Last Saturday on October 8th, Our Lord and Blessed Mother blessed us with so much fun and holiness through the Holy Eucharist, the procession and especially the dances our children performed to our Blessed Mother Mary.  Yes, miraculously the weather was very nice the entire day.  Throughout the day, I walked around and visited with so many people, and many people came from outside of Wichita.  Seeing their faith and joy, especially in the little children with all the fun they had, I was so happy and thanked God for each other and the many many people who helped us with this big event.  Thank you to our All Saints Catholic school team, Knights of Columbus, Altar Society and countless people, parishioners as well as non-parishioners, who helped tirelessly on Friday and Saturday.  Many of them didn’t leave until 1:00 in the morning.  Of course, many people also came and helped clean up and put things away on Sunday afternoon.  Your love for All Saints and your dedication were amazing.  I hope that in the future, we will have more hands and hearts to volunteer for this event.  It sounds like everyone wants to hold this event annually because of the blessings we have received from our Bishop, priests, sisters and the many people who attended.  God willing, we will do it again next fall.  Again, thank you everyone for your prayers, love, and dedication to our parish and for the good of so many people.  I was also surprised that so many people from other nationalities attended.  Yes, we are all God’s children, Catholic or not, parishioner or not, for we are all one as God’s family, Fr. Hien
PS: There will be no daily mass this week in our parish as well as throughout the diocese due to the clergy conference.
