Fr. Hien's Weekly Letter 12/04/2022

My Dear Parishioners,
     Happy 2nd Sunday of Advent.  We are in the Advent season, that’s to prepare our hearts, minds, and souls to celebrate the birthday of Jesus at Christmas.  For this reason, many people are displaying their Christmas lights and ornaments.  That’s because they love Jesus and are waiting to celebrate this coming Christmas.  Please know that Jesus is with us, and He loves to hear us talking with Him through our prayers for our salvation and the salvation of the whole world.  Every day, please give some quality time to have a conversation with Jesus wherever you may be:  at home, at work, at school, in church and especially in the chapel.  Finally, this coming Thursday, December 8th is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary with holy Masses at 12 noon (with school children) and 5pm in English, 6:30pm in Vietnamese.  Every Catholic is obligated to attend, so please make every effort to attend Mass either in our church or in another Catholic church.  Thank you, Fr Hien
