My Dear Parishioners,
Happy Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord Jesus. Today, we are to remind ourselves of our own baptisms in Christ, that is, to recognize the heavenly grace God bestowed upon us on the day of our baptism. This special grace made us beloved sons and daughters of our God, destined for eternal life. Please keep your Catholic faith alive within you by having a personal relationship with God, especially through your daily prayers and thanksgiving to God. None of us will ever be able to thank God enough on earth, therefore, let us desire to thank and to praise God with all the angels and saints in heaven. Liturgically, the baptism of the Lord is the end of the Christmas season. Next weekend, it will be the second Sunday of ordinary time of cycle B. Personally, I want to thank everyone for your commitment to God by attending our Holy Masses. Christmas Masses were amazing, so many people attended, and our church was so beautiful. Thank you to all those who helped me make our church beautiful for Christmas and New Year, including those who donated money for the flowers. Thank you also for your personal Christmas cards, best wishes, countless prayers, and gifts, including monetary, to me. I am blessed to be here at All Saints and to be loved by so many. Thank You! I love you all and let us continue putting God first, and always loving one another as a church family. Finally, please join me in welcoming back our children to school on January 12. We will be focusing a lot on their Catholic faith and helping many of them receive their sacraments of First Confession and First Holy Communion, and the sacrament of Confirmation for our 7th and 8th graders in May. Please pray for the safety of our children and our teachers and staff. God bless, Fr. Hien Comments are closed.
