Hello Everyone,

     Happy Father’s Day to all dads.  Blessings from Our Lord be with you all, especially to those who are under the weather.  Sadly, one of our priests from Church of the Magdalen, Father Matt Davied, has Covid19 and he must be quarantined.  We pray for healing for Father and all those who are sick.  Let us be cautious with this virus for it is very contagious.  It is best to stay home and avoid going out as much as possible.  I am doing so for my sake and everyone else too.  It is a sacrificial way of life to save lives. 
     Happy Father’s Day to all dads this weekend.  A special blessing will be given to those who will be at Holy Masses this weekend.  Thank you for being our wonderful and loving dads.  Please know that we love you and we need you in our lives.  May you be like St. Joseph, always full of love for your family and for God.
Diocesan Retreat:  Beginning this Sunday, June 21st to Friday, I will be joining our priests of the diocese for our annual retreat at the Spiritual Life Center.  There will be no daily Masses this week.  I will be having daily Mass with our priests and bishop and you all will be in my prayers at Holy Mass and in my daily liturgy of the hours, too. 
     Gospel in Vietnamese: Since Covid19, we have been printing the Sunday readings in the bulletin for everyone to read before or during Mass instead of using the hymnal.  Beginning today, we will print the Vietnamese version of the Gospel to help the elderly Vietnamese parishioners who do not know English too well.  Love you all, Fr. PHÚC ÂM:  Khi ấy, Chúa Giêsu phán cùng các Tông đồ rằng: "Các con đừng sợ những người đó, vì không có gì che giấu mà không bị thố lộ; và không có gì kín nhiệm mà không hề hay biết. Điều Thầy nói với các con trong bóng tối, hãy nói nơi ánh sáng; và điều các con nghe rỉ tai, hãy rao giảng trên mái nhà.
"Các con đừng sợ những kẻ giết được thân xác, nhưng không thể giết được linh hồn: Các con hãy sợ Đấng có thể ném cả xác lẫn hồn xuống địa ngục. Nào người ta không bán hai chim sẻ với một đồng tiền đó sao? Thế mà không con nào rơi xuống đất mà Cha các con không biết đến. Phần các con, tóc trên đầu các con đã được đếm cả rồi. Vậy các con đừng sợ: các con còn đáng giá hơn chim sẻ bội phần.  "Vậy ai tuyên xưng Thầy trước mặt người đời, thì Thầy sẽ tuyên xưng nó trước mặt Cha Thầy, là Đấng ngự trên trời. Còn ai chối Thầy trước mặt người đời, thì Thầy sẽ chối nó trước mặt Cha Thầy, là Đấng ngự trên trời".
