​My Dear Parishioners,
     How have your 40 days of Lent been going?  Now is a good time to make a habit of examining our conscience daily.  It’s also important to practice some form of sacrifice for the love of God and for the salvation of souls and for our eternal life.  Our Lord loves those who serve Him by sharing our goods with others.  We know that no one can earn eternal life with their money or hard work but only through God’s unconditional love of Him for every person He created.  Since the beginning of creation God made His promises of blessings, rewards and eternal life to those who love Him, to those who would do good unto others, and to those who would trust in His Divine Mercy.  This means that even the biggest sinner of the world can still be forgiven if he/she would trust in God and would repent, “Lord, be merciful to me a sinner; and of course, Lord remember me in your kingdom like the repentant thief.” 
     Everyone is in my heart and prayer; please keep me in yours too.  Thanks!  Will you join me this coming Thursday, March 28th at 6:30pm at the Cathedral, with our Bishop to celebrate the Holy Sacrament of Confirmation on Matthew Bui, Victoria Goheen, Tabitha Hengel, James Huntimer, Devynn Knipp, Rachel Le, Zachary Logan, Krystal Luong, Angelina Mai, Ryan Meece, Zoe Miller, Izabel Mireles, Mia Moore, Anna Nguyen, Joseph Nguyen, Shaina Pham, Brandy Ramos, Jolie Spaulding and Kenny Vu. These students, our beloved young men and women of our church family, have been waiting, praying and preparing their bodies, minds and souls for this special day.  Please join us. 
     Also, I learned that our bishop has changed the age of Confirmation in our diocese to children of 6th grade, beginning next year.  OH WOW!  However, please don’t worry!  God will help our diocese and parish to prepare our children for the divine gifts of the Holy Spirit with no problem.  For now, please keep our Confirmation candidates in your daily prayer as they will be confirmed this Thursday.  We love them and we are happy for them, Fr.      Building Fund: From everyone in our church family, we want to thank many individuals and families, parishioners and non-parishioners, who have contributed generously to our building fund. Up to date, we are blessed with $166,861. Every registered parishioner/family was asked for a suggested amount and if you have not contributed yet, please know that we are still waiting for your gift to our parish so that we can reach our goal of $170,000.
